    1.Bierkeller

    Looking for a bench-standing, foot-stomping way to ring in the new year?

    Bierkeller, in Manchester’s Printworks, is hosting a Bavarian party! From 9:30pm to 12:30am (doors open at 8pm), you can guzzle steins of their ice-cold Haus Bier and chow down on sauerkraut-topped hot dogs.

    If you want a reserved bench, complementary stein or cocktail and a supersized pretzel, Bierkeller’s ‘Prost and Party’ ticket is just £28.50. But their ‘Bottomless Bev’s’ package is where the night really begins.

    £75pp will get you 3 hours of bottomless drinks to wash down all your favourite German delights!

    2. Cosy Club

    Keep the bubbles flowing until midnight at the Cosy Club.

    The perfect place to don your glad rags, the Cosy Club’s ‘New Year’s Bash’ is about dancing the night away. All you have to do is find your local cosy (Manchester residents can find theirs in the Corn Exchange) and select your group size.

    Then, choose a ticket: arrival with the ‘Bar Ticket’ is at 8pm sharp. Guests will receive a classic cocktail on arrival, which they can enjoy while listening to jazz music in the cosy bar area (available for £15pp).

    If you really want to kick off your heels, their ‘Soirée Ticket’ is a must-have. £70pp will get you a sumptuous 4-course meal, canapés on arrival and cocktails as you count down to midnight.

    3. Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa

    If the word party means something completely different to you, Bolton’s Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa’s NYE event is not to be missed. Delight in the beauty of the West Pennine Moors as you enjoy a 1 or 2-night stay in this award-winning spa.

    Last Drop Village offers guests a choice of two curated packages. Their ever-popular ‘New Year’s Eve Family Party’ includes a three-course dinner (for children and adults), with entertainment from a magician and DJ.

    4. Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo

    Throw everything you know about bingo out the window this New Year’s Eve.
    Northern Hospitality’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo (hosted in the Quarter House) is a high-energy celebration of the world’s greatest pop, indie and rock bangers.

    For just £15, you get 3-hours of bingo and more glittery NYE vibes than you’ll know what to do with. Notoriously bad at bingo? If you don’t know your Rolling Stones from your Foo Fighters, you can always Shazam the answers!

    At Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo, cheating is encouraged. All guests will have a shot at winning some of their crazy prizes, so rock on down to the Northern Quarter.

    5. Doghouse Manchester

    Do you want to party like it’s 1999? Doghouse Manchester is making it possible! Grab your Tamagotchi: it’s time to groove to 90s classics.

    Hosted in Manchester City Centre, Doghouse’s NYE bashes see the bar wind back the clocks and the prices! Guests can throw their hands up with draft headliners like Lost Lagers from £1.95 to Wingman for £2.25.

    NYE isn’t complete without Prosecco, and you can get your fill with their high-quality £14.95 bottles. But if you prefer cocktails, Doghouse’s Wonderland menu is chock-full of classics. Who could say no to a £3.95 espresso martini?

    6. NYE at The Fitz

    Speaking of time travel, journey to the 1920s with The Fitz’s New Year’s Eve Burlesque. Glitz and glam personified, this electrifying evening will see Stevenson Square transformed into a prohibition party.

    With clean jazz from their live band and prosecco on arrival, guests will soon learn how the Roaring Twenties got their name. Raise a glass to health and wealth as you watch the captivating choreography of the Fitz’ very own ‘Bad Bunnies’.

    If you want to groove into the early morning hours, ticket packages range from £36-£200.

    7. 20 Stories

    For the closing party of 2024, why not celebrate it in the sky? 20 Stories’ ‘Somewhere High Above Manchester’ event is aptly named, held 100 metres above ground in their striking bar.

    Select their ‘Early Dinner’ tickets (served at 5pm) to start the evening with a bespoke 3-course meal. Prefer to make a late entrance? 20 Stories’ ‘Late Dinner’ tickets (starting from 7pm) offer a second sitting of the same menu.

    Their NYE Sober Silent Disco night is all about you: your music, your dance style! With a pair of their wireless headphones (provided on the night), you can boogie on down to a personal playlist of all your favourite tunes.

    Hinterland is also offering guests optional extras like three of their ‘Three Spirit Cocktails’ (plus a free one on arrival!)

    9. Decade by Decade

    Every hour leading up to midnight is a new musical decade: what better way to celebrate the new year than with the greatest hits? Hosted by The Circle Bacup, their ‘Decade-by-Decade’ event is ideal for all kinds of music lovers.

    The event starts at 7pm sharp and kicks off with the biggest bangers from the 1970s. Working up to present-day tunes, this musical journey is accompanied by live performances, stilt walkers, and epic fire shows.

    When you start getting peckish, don’t worry: grab a plate and load up on goodies from The Circle Bacup’s luxury buffet. Tickets for general entry start at £55.25.

    10. Let’s Groove: New Year’s Eve at The Bridgewater Hall

    The Bridgewater Hall Concert Orchestra will kick 2025 off with a bang! Playing a host of feel-good NYE tunes from artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, David Bowie, and Chaka Khan, guests can get dressed up to groove on down!

    Set the tone for the evening with Bridgewater’s pre-concert entertainment on the foyer’s LED dance floor (music courtesy of resident DJ Wayne). Then, buckle in for a night of unforgettable festivities.
